This course provides the strategies available in rhetoric and communication theory essential for those seeking careers as communications specialists. Students learn invention strategies from a variety of rhetorical theories, including tagmemic rhetoric, for use as planning tools. Projects include creating brochures and proposals. The course concentrates on printed publications and organizational communication issues within various businesses and institutions. Software proficiency in word processing is required.
