The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Organizational Studies degree program provides a foundation in leadership, interpersonal relationships, diversity, organizational ethics and communications.

Organizational Studies is an interdisciplinary program in a growing field that examines work behavior at the individual, group and organizational levels. Students integrate knowledge of human relations with an understanding of the fundamental operations of a company. It appeals to career-minded students who want to assume managerial roles in corporate and not-for-profit settings.

Job Prospects
As a multidisciplinary field of study, the major prepares students for a variety of career options. The degree is particularly well suited for those students with some management credentials who might be considering a career change.
Graduates find employment in areas such as social work, counseling, education and other human service fields. Possible job titles include: career counselor, community outreach coordinator, training manager, customer service manager, employee relations representative, employment counselor, human resource manager, operations manager, personnel manager, program manager and recruiter.

The 120-credit hour curriculum has three components:
- Robert Morris University Core - 39 credits
- Traditional liberal arts requirements in humanities, communications skills, and social, behavioral, natural and quantitative sciences.
- Organizational Studies - 36 credits
- This is the major field of study and includes required courses in accounting, organizational communication, information systems, marketing, management, industrial psychology, sociology, multicultural perspectives, organizational leadership and ethics.
- Electives - 45 credits
- Choose up to 15 courses to tailor their program of study to meet you professional and personal needs and interests. These courses also may be fulfilled by transfer credits. In rare cases, life experience credits may be apply.
