HSAM1400 - Introduction To Managed Care

This course will present a survey of the managed care component of the health care industry. The course will develop a taxonomy of managed care organizations, understanding of managed care financing mechanisms and the incentives that they generate and will deal with specific challenges relating to organization, financing, legal issues and other aspects of managed care.
